As a Manual Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing procedures.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute manual test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of .Net Applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to understand project requirements and design appropriate test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects, issues, and risks discovered during testing phases.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings to contribute insights and recommendations for improving test coverage and efficiency.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Work proactively to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall quality assurance strategy.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester with a focus on writing test cases for complex software applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases tailored to specific project requirements.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as JIRA, Selenium, and TestRail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
